This is an S2 Editions Poster - LIMITED EDITION. There are less than a handful of surviving originals from 1931 known to exist. This is a Limited Edition that was printed in New York City in the year 2000. Virtually every movie poster we stock is an original movie poster printed for use in movie theaters back when the film was originally released. This is not. In rare cases like this we make an exception. This is an extremely high quality fine art Limited Edition lithograph poster. Printed on very thick durable archival-grade paper using the finest quality fade resistant inks. S2 Editions recreated several classic posters between 1997 and 2003. They bought 100 year-old lithograph presses, completely refurbished them, and had expert artisans recreate the stone litho printing plates. They were printed in exactly the same way the posters were originally printed almost 100 years ago.
