insure expensive items for the FULL AMOUNT. Import Duties for the
European Union apply to any item bought overseas whether or not we list it
as a gift on the shipping manifest.
In the UK for example, they apply to any gift over £35 and to any item that
is not a gift over £18.
These costs can be quite
substantial and include a Value added Tax and a Parcel Force Clearance Fee.
These combined charges can add up to
25% or more to your
final cost. For other European countries the charges will differ. Please
check with your postal system on their procedure for packages from overseas
so you are not unpleasantly surprised.

PACKAGING
When you purchase a poster from us
we take extra special care when we package your item.
For
folded posters
we
put the poster in a plastic bag or envelope and in between two or four pieces of
STRONG cardboard and tape it together before placing in the shipping
envelope/box. We stamp “DO NOT BEND” all over the outside of the package.
For
rolled posters
we put the poster in a STRONG 3” or greater diameter tube with thick walls at
least 3/16” or 1/4“ or thicker. We roll the poster into a smaller diameter than
the tube. This is VERY IMPORTANT because it gives the edges strength and helps
to prevent them from getting wrinkled. We then wrap with paper or put it in a
plastic sleeve. We put some kind of soft cushioning material (also very important!) on
the ends to further protect them from getting damaged. We then put this tube
inside another triangular tube for even more protection. We stamp “FRAGILE: DO NOT
BEND” all over the outside of the package.
For framed posters we have them
professionally packaged before we ship them.
Even with all this extra special
care, sometimes posters do get damaged in transit. Just blame the postman. We
use postal insurance just in case this happens.
Generally, posters stand a
better chance of arriving undamaged when they are shipped folded and not
rolled. The post office has a bad habit of crushing tubes.

WHY DO WE HAVE THIS POLICY
FOR LINEN BACKED/PAPER BACKED/RESTORED POSTERS?
Once a poster has been restored,
it is forever changed. Although the process is usually reversible it is
almost never done. There are some collectors who will not buy a restored
poster, and they believe any poster that has been restored has lost some of
it's value.
Return Policy for Frames:
Since they are custom made,
we can not accept returns on frames.

sold on this site are graded and described accurately. Unless otherwise
specified in the description, ALL POSTERS ARE
ORIGINAL MOVIE POSTERS
(original theatrical movie posters that were displayed or meant for display
(unused) in theatres at the time the movies were released). We are a LAMP
(Learnaboutmovieposters.com) approved dealer. This means we have subscribed to
their non-misrepresentation agreement and agree to clearly and factually
describe all merchandise for sale on this site.

We can provide you with a

Certificate of Authenticity for every poster you buy. We will put in writing
that we guarantee it to be an Original Movie Poster. You must ask for it
though. So when you order, just mention that you want one and we will
